Book Log 2024-2025

Hello, I’m Denny and I used to think reading wasn’t for me. I got tired of social media sapping my brain cells and one day I said “I am gonna sit down and I am gonna read.” It was pretty hard at first. I found out I need headphones with nature sounds to help me focus. Then it gradually became easier and easier. I kept visiting bookstores during my lunch breaks and started to be more brave with picking books whose covers and premises sounded good to me. I also found out I read much faster and easier into English… go figure. And now I’m happy to pick a book and lose myself for a day or so.

I have a small backlog of books waiting my attention but I also want to list all the books I’ve finished because I want to give myself a pat on the back and be like – See? You read all of these!! I’m so proud of you!

As for what genres I read – I enjoy thrillers and murder mysteries but recently poked some fantasy and romance books. I also tend to prefer reading fantasy and romances in summer and the more scary books in autumn!
