I was thinking how funny it would be if his name really was Grumps (or Grumpy or Grump) and we could go right on calling him Grumps. :D And we can, but not for that reason. Also, he has at least one pretty good reason for being grumpy.
I love how Denny, when she finds out, goes straight from teasing to concerned and sympathetic. It’s shows (as if we didn’t already know) that she’s really a good person. The expressions are a big part of that: So well drawn that I really know how the characters are feeling.
