As I said it wasn`t that bad. ^^; His human owner just focused all on money and career over making pretty jewelries. And now you see why Xavier dislikes money so much.
On a side note… isn`t my phone there just lovely? lol It looks like a deformed block of white cheese.
I thought during few minutes i recognized teacher from chapter one. Though he’s not the teacher, there are still some resemblance. Side effect of drawing style, or is there really a link between the 2 humans ?
In the last panel, it should be “heard”, not “herad”.
I really like the work you’ve done so far, keep at it!
@Darth Killer
It`s due to my drawing style XD;; they aren`t connected in any way.
@Grammer Nazi
Oops! Mi God, I knew you grammar nazi are around! XD; Thank you for pointing out, it must have slipped when editing the text and of course I never noticed. I`ll correct it asap. ^^
Actually, did you know that you can read and comprehend awfully mispelled words as long as the letter list is good and frist and last letters are ok ?
Like HERAD instead of HEARD : letter list is good, first letter (H) is ok, last (D) too, so you read HEARD even if it’s mispelled. ^^
It works even if all words of entire texts are mispelled this way. And it works with everyone, as long as you have already learned to read the language used. :)
So that’s no surprising if you failed to notice it, considering that unlike us reader you had other things to focus on. :p
As for the story, that explains why Xavier was that much weakened by Grympy’s toss : that heart necklace is Xavier’s only creation, if it is destroyed he’ll die on the spot. :/
Wow, I totally get it now! Yeah, way disposed of my first Muse ages ago. Though I didn’t forget about. I just can’t draw.
@eugene : then you’re still with your muse, since all muse whisper is inspiration and imagination. Even if you cannot achieve it, as long as you imagine it it means you hear your muse. Am i right, Denny ? :)
Could’ve sworn that was her Literature teacher at first. And then I went back and checked, the teacher doesn’t have glasses.
Besides, I think the teacher’s muse is the goat-horn guy she first meets…
Anyway, this really does explain why Xavier doesn’t like money. -sniffles- I wonder if something similar happened to Grumps, and that’s why he’s so darn sour all the time.
@Darth Killer
Yeah I often make mistakes like that ^^;;; this isn`t the first one actually. Then when I do spot them I`m like “Doh! How did I mistyped that!?”
And you are quite correct! : )
@Eugene
Why don`t you sketch or do something creative this weekend to make your muse happier? ^_^;
@Rahna
You are on the right track here ^_~
Also Xavier left his owner years ago so in the flashback he looks around 20ish but he should be older now. ^^
And again…thank you for the comments!
I try to come up with something interesting as picture for 50k hits before Saturday comes. Any preferences?
Rahna : the demonic goat being the teacher’s muse is rather obvious since the start (even if at the time we had no idea what a muse could be). However, Can someone have multiple muses ? Maybe so, even without ending up with schizophrenia. Most notably what can a demonic entity like that goat inspire a human litterature teacher as a muse ? Nothing i think, so he must be his muse for other fields of interest. :)
This might be where I get confused maybe about what a Muse can inspire. I still go back to that drawing (that only exists in my head now) and while I don’t draw anymore, I use it in so many other things. Is that same muse?
The Lit Teacher and Goatface in cahoots with each other…god that would be terrifying. And for more reasons than any of you actaully know :P Man it’s so hard not to post spoilers here! T__T
I have a kind of obvious question….
Does Denny have a muse (i mean in the story) and have we met him/her yet? (i am assuming that muses are not just male?)
Well, the heart necklace was MADE from money, so… yeah.
Awww, how sad! :(
@tweax Muses are technically genderless. They are, after all, abstract concepts given form. Some prefer to take male form, some female, some not even human.
As for the other question – just wait and see!
Hmm. He bears an intersting resmeblance to her teacher. And along that line Denny’s muse has a very sturdy anvil as a base item back in reality.
