Alberius is a bit of a jerk, I admit!
But yes, he knew all along what connection the two had, hence his comments when Denny walked in the cathedral with Grumps. ^_^;
TEARS. GRUMPS IS CRYING.
I figured he had. But even with this, I can’t dislike him at all.
Fyrians or humans, we’re all sentients, and as usual sentients are very hostile to their own fears. This clash of words between Alberius and Grumps shows it clearly. One fears for his fellow fyrians to the point he dismisses the value of human life, the other cares so much for his human that he’s not willing to let her get any harm no matter how or what, fearing for her life, and ready to suffer himself seclusion and self-induced amnesia.
@Darth Killer
Bulls eye! ^_^;
@Rahna
Yup, he teared up! All this memory flood is bit too much for him right now! ^_^;;
Ah, tears. That makes me like him more.
That was excellently put, Darth. I didn’t know you were so smart.
I guess that’s understandable, it’d be too much for anyone at this point. Poor Grumps… I just hope he remembers his name now.
Rahna : my main fear right now is seeing Alberius jumping on this opportunity and blasting Grumps while he’s off balance because of the memory rush. :/
All of a sudden, I’m reminded of Spirit Circle. The reincarnation and destiny themes, as well as the FEELS, are what makes me link them together in my mind. There are some definite differences, tho…
Somehow, Darth, I don’t think he’d be that cruel.
Not necessarily out of cruelty, but out of necessity, at least from his point of view. Remember, everyone considers the transformation into a sin as irreversible, plus Grumps is the void summonner here.
And if Alberius thought he turned into a sin… ^_^;
Since, let’s not forget, Grumps is already an un-muse!
Alberius stated the transformation out loud couple pages ago, so yeah he definitivly thought so. :p
I’ve been watching the void recede from Grumps throughout the flashbacks. Would Alberius still think it was necessary to put him down if he witnessed the transformation back to normal?
@Rahna
The void is slowly vanishing indeed but Alberius is a little short sighted, hence the glasses! ^__^;;; Let’s hope he won’t do anything hasty now!
He would hold back, yeah. But as far as we know, so far the transformation back is not yet started, physically that is. I don’t think fanfyrians have empathy abilities towards one another. They can feel energy signature (making them recognize each other’s status) but that’s not empathy.

It’s on your head if he does, Denny~
